In welding, fitting and fabrication sometimes there is a need to lay out a line in 60 degree, 70 degree, or 55 degree for irregular shapes and to stretch or spread a line with a long straight edge. That’s why we designed this special speed square to make an arc, circle, or line. The flat marked base allows you work faster than you could with a regular speed square.
